Developing a Feminizing Hormone Therapy Satisfaction Questionnaire (FEM-SQ) For Trans Women
About the Study
The purpose of this study is to receive feedback on a questionnaire (also called a survey) about trans women's satisfaction with their feminizing hormone therapy (FHT; that is, medications such as hormones that trans women sometimes use).
Why are we doing this study?
We believe it is very important to be able to measure trans women ’s satisfaction with feminizing hormone therapy to understand how their satisfaction might impact their interest and willingness to use health care, including taking their feminizing hormone therapy medications and other medications regularly. We also think that this information could help to improve clinical care for trans women by helping medical care providers (e.g. doctors) to better understand trans women’s perspectives on their feminizing hormone regimens and access to trans-affirming care.
